CRYPTIDS - The Loch Ness Monster

This project entailed illustrating one of five Cryptid creatures for Cloak brand to be used in an apparel collection. Cryptids are mythical creatures such as Big Foot or the Chupacabra. The main graphic here features the mysterious Loch Ness Monster, hailing from the UK, “Nessy” is known to inhabit Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. Stylistically we landed on this silhouette look using dramatic night lighting that helps obscure and convey a sense of mystery rather than a obvious detailed render of the creature. Each creature received its own custom logotype, used as a front print for the apparel. Art Direction by Mike Pargas
