BLUES & ABEC7 BEARING PACKAGING

Andale needed a packaging update for their standard skateboard bearing products and a sixteen pack bulk box. There were two standard bearing products, the Blues are the lower price point, and the ABEC 7s are the higher price point. The Blues bearings were designed with the intent to compete with Bones “Reds” bearings, by marketing a similar quality product with opposite color. The ABEC 7 bearings were designed to have more of a premium look, so a gold foil paper stock was chosen. The bulk box was designed to display the product inside, through folding back the top. When folding back the top, the logo pops up to help the product stand out on the shelf, apart from the competition.
